The vigorous effort that followed to dispose of troubled assets allowed MBank to reduce its overall loan portfolio from $230 million to $125 million, even as it has made new CRE loans.” MBank, like many other institutions that Guardian has helped, experienced an accelerated recovery, and now ranks close to the top of its peer group – a healthy position as the market heads into a rebound.
